STAINLESS STEEL TUBES

For over twenty years, Steam has been employing T.I.G. electrowelded stainless steel tubes for the production of small parts successfully used in the thermo-hydraulic sector. It is thanks to this experience, acquired throughout the years, that Steam can affirm to produce high quality tubes which can meet any sort of requirement. Our direct use of the tubes we produce has brought a continuous improvement that carries on unceasingly, granting a further development in the welded stainless steel production, which applies to uses they were hardly contemplated for.

Steam produces welded Stainless steel pipes using top quality rolled strips. Tubes are longitudinally welded by fusion in an inert atmosphere through the T.I.G. (Tungsten-Inert-Gas) method with no added metal.
A special forming process, non-destructive tests (Eddy Current) carried out over the whole length of the tube and destructive tests (flaring according to UNI EN ISO 8493) guarantee a completely reliable welded seam.
