Over the past 30 years, Steam has worked on stainless steel TIG welded tubes, and for more than 15 years they have been produced internally. Steam uses them for the production of sleeves for flexible hoses and pressfitting systems, with maximum quality and efficiency.
Every single stainless steel tube has to be extremely precise and reliable. For this reason it is produced with machines manufactured by leading companies, optimized for maximum quality of the welding requested in the various fields of application.
The tube welding process is done using the traditional TIG method in a controlled environment, which guarantees the best quality, both in terms of metallurgical performance and mechanical resistance.
The process is controlled on the production line using Eddy Current system, which detects any defect in the welding and on the whole diameter of the tube, removing imperfections due to the raw material, to obtain a 100% tested and conforming material.
During the production process the tube is systematically tested at regular intervals, according to our severe internal procedures and standards. Principally, the destructive test permits the verification of the resistance of the welding. All tests are recorded and stored for at least one year.
Over the past 30 years, Steam has worked on stainless steel TIG welded tubes, and for more than 15 years they have been produced internally. Steam uses them 24 hours a day, for the production of sleeves for flexible hoses and pressfitting systems.
Our reality has evolved from this kind of experience, where every single piece has to be precise and reliable and where quality and efficiency are the main objective.
Our tubes are produced according to the following standards:
